Properly maintaining your automobile’s tires doesn’t have to be a challenge. One of the easiest ways to keep them in good condition is by getting a rotation once every 5,000 miles. Doing so enables the tread on each one to wear out at an even pace. Otherwise, you could end up having to replace one or two before the others! As you head down Interstate 35 and hit potholes along the way, the wheels may be thrown out of line with the suspension. If this happens, an alignment service is in order. Getting one every year can help the tires make proper contact with the pavement and point in the correct direction. Finally, visit us if you get a flat, as we might be able to repair the damage.

New Components

Even though tires last a long time, they will eventually need to be swapped out for fresh components. Luckily, we can supply you with genuine Genesis units at our Service Department. First of all, we’ll check each one to see if its tread depth is at a safe level. You can do this at home by inserting a penny upside down into the grooves on the tires. If the top of the head is visible, then it is likely unsafe to travel around New Braunfels, as you could experience a loss of traction. Regardless, you should get an updated set of tires every five years or so. Check with your Owner’s Manual for additional information about this timeframe.
